StrobeReview ("we", "our", "us") provides a design review and approval platform for architects and their clients. We are registered in the United Kingdom.
2. What data we collect
- Account data: Email address and name provided at sign-up.
- Project data: Design files you upload, project names, descriptions, and client email addresses.
- Client feedback: Annotations and approval decisions submitted by your clients.
- Payment data: Billing is handled by Stripe. We do not store card details.
- Usage data: Basic analytics to improve the service (page views, feature usage).
3. How we use your data
- To provide and improve the StrobeReview service.
- To send email notifications about project activity (approvals, comments).
- To process payments via Stripe.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal basis (UK GDPR)
We process your personal data under the following lawful bases:
- Contract: To deliver the service you signed up for.
- Legitimate interests: To prevent fraud and improve the service.
- Consent: For any marketing communications (you can opt out at any time).
5. Data storage and transfers
Your data is stored in the European Union (Supabase EU region) and served via Cloudflare's global CDN. We do not transfer personal data outside the UK/EEA except where necessary for core service providers (Stripe, US, with EU standard contractual clauses).
6. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time. Project data is deleted within 30 days of account closure.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access your data, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, restrict processing, and data portability. Contact us at privacy@strobereview.com to exercise these rights.
8. Cookies
We use only essential cookies required for authentication (Supabase session). We do not use third-party tracking cookies.
